The Ferrari factory and museum is a unique and engaging opportunity to discover the history of the Prancing Horse and its founder – and you can come and test drive a Ferrari. The Bolognese territory is well-known as the “land of motors”. That is because a substantial number of renowned motor companies and manufacturers are concentrated in the area ranging from Ferrari, Lamborghini and Maserati to Ducati. All places are within 50 kilometers from Casa Antonietto.
The city’s many arcades make it wonderful to visit in all kinds of weather. Beautiful food streets, marvelous churches, art and architecture. In the heart of Bologna you have piazza Maggiore with Fontana Del Nettuno. Take a walk up to Santuario della Madonna di San Luca and enjoy the view over Bologna.
Rocca di Vignola is a beautiful restored fortress – an elegant Renaissance castle with a lot of frescoes mostly dating back to the 15th century only 20 kilometers from Coscogno. The city of Vignola is a very charming city. There are many lovely fashion stores. In the center of Vignola you will find the old fortress 'Rocca di Vignola'. The history dates back to the 8th century.
The dream lives on here… The local area is full of all kinds of markets – big and small. Markets with food, clothing, jewellery and all sorts of things. There are also special flea markets and antique markets. We have markets with fruits, vegetables, cheese, salamis, clothes, and more things from the region. Just ask and I will be happy to tell you everything about it.
Are you looking for an active holiday? There are many great paths and possibilities for an unforgettable hiking adventure. If you want to hike on the mountain ridge with Tuscany to one side, Emilia Romagna to the other, it is only a one hour drive from here and you have the most beautiful view.
Pack a picnic basket and take a short trip to Ponte di Olina, one of the many beautiful old bridges in the area that are still intact.
